We can help seniors living at home and adults with long-term physical disabilities lead respectable, successful, and independent lives through our programs and services.

What you would be doing?

  • Arrive at the client’s house and depart on time according to a predetermined schedule
  • Perform personal care tasks as directed by the client, such as:
  • personal hygiene and appearance
  • bathing and cleaning
  • preparing meals, etc.
  • getting up and going to bed
  • any specialized care, including bladder and bowel care and G Tube
  • placement, transitions, and overall mobility requirements
  • simple domestic tasks like cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Utilize mobility devices (such as lifts, transfer boards, and other equipment) to assist in lifting and transferring clients by the established protocols for the safe and appropriate use of said equipment.
  • Keep a record of the services you rendered and any additional information needed on a smartphone provided by the agency.
  • Be professional and courteous when interacting with the client, the caregiver, and other people in the client’s support system.
  • At all times, maintain the privacy of client information.

What you bring

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or a comparable level of training, education, and experience. 
  • A minimum of one to two years of exhibited work experience and a solid practical understanding of working with seniors and/or physically disabled people
  • the capacity to use English both orally and in writing with effectiveness
  • Capacity to interact with people in an efficient manner
  • Ability to perform the position’s duties physically
  • the capacity to plan tasks and operate on one’s own
  • Proficiency in operating relevant devices, such as smartphones
  • dedication to ensuring the well-being and security of clients and coworkers
  • outstanding record of attendance

Essential

  • Ability to work all scheduled shifts, every other weekend, and official holidays.
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Current CPR and First Aid Protocols
  • Examine Vulnerable Sectors
  • Evidence of three doses of the COVID vaccine
