A kind, driven, and enthusiastic Personal Support Worker is what Southbridge Care Homes is currently seeking to add to our wonderful home family so that we can continue to provide the safety, health, and happiness of our lovely residents. Our PSW will improve daily direct personal and nursing care to residents to meet their needs on a physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual level.

Duties And Responsibilities

• assist in giving residents direct care.
• Offer residents and their families social and emotional support, including palliative care.
• Assist members of a multidisciplinary team in meeting residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• A certificate or diploma from the PSW program that satisfies the requirements set forth by the Ontario Community Support Association, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities. or prepared to offer verification of enrollment before being hired.
• possesses a heart and passion for offering high-quality care.
• It is necessary to have knowledge and experience with documentation and care planning systems.
