What We Require:

• Valid Class 1/AZ driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract

• Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)

• Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency

• Previous professional driving experience is preferred

• Capacity to work in a range of temperatures, weather conditions, and road conditions

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Must be goal-oriented with a positive, “can-do” attitude

• This position requires punctuality and attention to detail

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships

• Using ramps and occasionally stairs, manually sorting, unloading, and wheeling food products into customer locations (approximately 600–1000 cases/shift)

• Transporting materials and goods via straight trucks or trailers on short interurban, rural, and urban routes in a safe and competent manner

• completing regular pre- and post-trip truck inspections, keeping precise delivery route, temperature logs, count sheets, and incident reporting records, and

• Verifying product delivery at the client’s location and keeping track of client invoices

• observing safe work practices and health and safety regulations
