Duties
- Conversation and companionship
- Light housekeeping duties and cooking
- Reminders for appointments and medications
- Help with bathing and grooming
- Support for using the loo and incontinence problems
- Alzheimer’s Treatment *While not required, prior experience is advantageous.* *Home Instead offers on-going and skill-building training*.
Qualifications for CARE Professional Status
- The capacity to show dignity and respect to neighbours and their belongings
- Capacity to establish a cordial and friendly rapport with clients
- In addition to providing two professional and two personal references, finish the criminal background check.
- Have a dependable car and a valid driver’s licence. (Optional, but not necessary)
- A driver’s abstract is necessary.
- Own a smartphone and a computer.
